Flag Football Tournament

to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

The Lemon Bowl Flag Football Tournament is a unique way for individuals and organizations to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) in their fight to cure childhood cancer.

Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15 in the United States and a parent's worst nightmare. Over the years ALSF has donated millions of dollars to fund childhood cancer research. Unfortunately, childhood cancer research is still vastly underfunded. For that reason and on behalf of all the children of the world battling cancer, we take our (relatively) healthy bodies to the gridirons of a football field to raise money.

Together with our players, volunteers, sponsors and individual donors we donated over $36,000 to ALSF in 2015. Over the past seven years the Lemon Bowl has now donated over $100,000 to ALSF and families battling childhood cancer.

﷯Meet Felicia Frugoli Felicia endured 8 months of 5 different chemotherapy drugs, 11 rounds of radiation, and 3 different central lines during treatment. She also endured blood transfusions, palates transfusions and several surgeries including the removal of her right kidney. Her treatment took place in isolation due to the highly contagious VRE virus. Throughout isolation and her treatment, Felicia never stopped smiling and joking with her doctors, even in great pain and discomfort.
